POTTS, (ARTHUR) RANDY Though his heart was full of love and life, it was tired and sadly, (Arthur) Randy Potts passed away with his wife and some of his family by his side on April 6th, 2014. Randy was born on November 22nd, 1949 in Burnaby, BC. He is predeceased by his Mother, Mona Elizabeth Potts and his Father, Arthur Cedric Potts. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Cathy, his Daughters Cheri (Neil) Hamelin, & Becky (Marty) Elechko, his Sister Julie (Alan) Robbins and his Mother and Father in law, Hanaye and Isao Nakazawa. He will also be greatly missed by his two Grandchildren, Paige and Connor Elechko and his beloved companion, Nesta. Randy spent his childhood and youth in Burnaby, moving to the Okanagan in 1976. He was a dedicated and hard worker and was part of the Safeway Family for over 35 years, and most recently spent his working days at Quality Greens. He was intensely passionate about everything with a motor, and lived for long rides on his motorbike, often with his friend John P. by his side. Randy was an honest, straight forward person who put great care and effort into everything he did. He enjoyed travelling, tinkering, Nascar and loved starting everyday with his favourite, a Tim Horton's Steeped tea, double double, heated for an extra 45 seconds. There will be a small, informal service for Family and Friends to pay their respects on Saturday, April 12th, 2014 at Parkview Funeral Home, 1258 Main Street, Penticton, BC, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any of the following: St. Paul's Hospital - Vancouver, BC, Penticton Regional Hospital, or Kelowna General Hospital.
