MICHAEL HEINZ SCHEWE Mike was born in Brunswick, Germany and resided in Kelowna, he passed away suddenly on the morning of April 27, 2014 at the age of 60. Mike was predeceased by his loving mother Waltraud in 1986 and father Heinz in 2009. Mike will be terribly missed by his surviving family members. His wife Valerie and their children Adam (Misty), Erin (Wes), and his grandchildren, who he adored, Regan and Evan Schewe. Mike had a zest for life that most of us could only wish for. He was a man of passion when it came to not only his family but his love of race cars. Mike worked for decades striving to build Dirty Edna bigger, faster, stronger, and louder. He was loved by his family and many friends and was always the happiest guy in the room. We will deeply miss his warm smile and chuckle, usually at his own jokes, but we all laughed right along with him. Mike loved nothing more than to entertain whether it is on the racetrack or a family dinner, he was sure to amuse all in attendance.
