KLETKE, Gustav Went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the age of 87. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Eva; children: Jennie Lea-Wilson of Regina, Gordon (Anita) of Edmonton, Esther Hildebrandt (John) of Winnipeg, Doris Kletke of Kelowna; Ray of Kelowna; grandchildren: Colin Lea-Wilson (Jade), Amanda Aiken, Carrie Kletke, Stefanie Kletke (Dana Oullette), Sherri-Lynn Mahdal (Mark), Christine Haynes, Danielle Parent, Michael Hildebrandt (Phoebe), Anthony Hildebrandt, Becca Kletke and Carter Kletke; great grandchildren: Byron, Owen, Emma, Brandon, Joe, Emily, Paxton, John and Charlie; sisters: Johanna Beer of Germany, Hedwig Hapke of Edmonton, Emma Scherl (Adam) of Chilliwack, Helga Kehl (Fred) of Port Colbourne, ON; brother-in-law George Braun of Chilliwack; sister-in-law Ursula Kletke; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings: Blondine Heuss (Heinz), Emilie Braun, Otto Kletke and Waldemar Kletke. Nicknamed "Mr. Smiley" by his hospital caregivers, Gustav's friendly disposition touched everyone he met. Time of Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19th at 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 11:00 at Evangel Church (Heritage Room), 3261 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, BC. Interment to follow in the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
