HOLMWOOD, LESLIE WILLIAM Les passed away in Kelowna on Tuesday, June 4th, with family at his side. Born in Prince Rupert, BC on June 10th, 1929, Les was raised in Powell River, BC. He is survived by wife Lou of Kelowna, brother Doug (Bunny) of Powell River, daughter Anne-Marie (Mike) and granddaughter Willa of Kelowna, and sons Andy (Carol) of Canmore, AB, and Jeff of Vancouver, BC. A career as a manager in the construction industry saw Les and family live and work in Vancouver and Calgary, before he and Lou retired to Kelowna in 1999. Les had a passion for driving the highways and back-roads of BC and Alberta and spending summers with his family in the North Shuswap. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
