BROCKBANK, EDNA MARGUERITA Greta was born March 22, 1923 in Newcastle-on-Tyne, Northumberland to Bill and Ethel Tate. She married Alex Brockbank at the end of the war and lived in London, England, eastern Canada, Edmonton, and Naramata. She was predeceased by her dear husband Alex in 2009. She is survived by her cousins, Joan Wordsworth and Marian Burton of Northumberland; sister-in-law, Marie Thompson of Devon, and good friends and neighbours. Greta was known for her little dogs, her hospitality, and her liveliness. She died June 21, 2014 at Haven Hill in Penticton. Thanks to the staff for the loving care they gave her. Her memorial service will be at Everden Rust, 1130 Carmi Ave., Penticton at 1pm July 4th with Pastor Laurence officiating.
