RESSEL, Ursula. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ursula of West Kelowna. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 at the Hospice House of Kelowna at the age of 81 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 3rd, 1932 in Gross Lessen, Germany to parents Erna and Artur Kusche. She will be sadly missed by her husband Egon, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, both here in Canada and in Germany, and her many friends. Many thanks to the staff at Hospice House for their compassionate care. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3637 Brown Road, West Kelowna. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Okanagan Hospice House in Kelowna or the Kelowna SPCA.
