AIELLO, Ottavio Luigi: Ottavio was born in Castelsilano, Prov. of Catanzaro, Italy on May 18, 1925 and passed away on October 9, 2014 in Kelowna, BC. He immigrated to Calgary in January 1959. Ottavio worked many jobs but the majority of his life was with the City of Calgary, in the parks department. When he retired he spent most of his time caring for his family in his new home Kelowna. His biggest passion was his grandchildren and his garden. He was very passionate, kind and had a huge heart. He will be missed by his loving wife Teresina and his children Frank and Denise Aiello, Isabella Fedor and Rosa Aiello, also by his grandchildren Mason, Jesse, Mary, Frank Fedor, Frank Giampa, Frank Ottavio, Luigi, and 7 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Pius X Church, 1077 Fuller Road, Kelowna, BC. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
