Passed in peace at The Hamlets, Penticton. Predeceased in 1999 by his wife Eve (Euphemia Blackwood Gibson of Fifeshire, Scotland). Dennis is much-missed by their children: Robert (Karina), Allan (Lone) and Deborah (Patrick), their extensive families, and friends.
Dennis was born in Herefordshire, England, to Percy and Elsie Jones. He spoke all his life of his idyllic boyhood on his parent's farm in the parish of Blakemere, his escapades with his three brothers, and of playing violin in a popular band.
Dennis helped keep RAF aircraft aloft in WWII, and then emigrated to Canada, living in Edmonton, Yellowknife, the Cowichan Valley, and Penticton.
His life passion was as a designer, builder, project manager, fine woodworker and science buff.
Heartfelt thanks to The Hamlets staff for their care of our Dad.
