JUDIESCH, Pearl (nee Malysh): Mom was born Sept. 30, 1920 in Desjarlais, Alberta and passed away peacefully on January 18, 2015. Predeceased by the one and only love of her life Donald, who she now joins for eternity, her parents Nickolay and Waszlyna Malysh, siblings, John, Alec, Peter, Mary, Helen, Rose. She is survived by son Wayne (Linda), daughter Karen (Bill), grandchildren, Casey, PJ, Christine, great grandchildren Paige, Mekenna, Colton, Camryn, sister Irene, brother Paul. Mom grew up in Vernon and graduated from Fulton High, at which time she moved to Vancouver and worked in the White Lunch Cafeteria as a manager, where she met dad and they were married Jan. 31, 1948. Mom for years was a drapery seamstress extraordinaire and ran a shop of her own for many years, retiring to Kelowna in 1989, where her and dad lead a very happy simple life style taking little day trips, but usually waiting for summer and her favourite activity, gardening, canning and feeding dad. A celebration of life will be held in May for mom. The family would like to especially thank the amazing, caring, compassionate staff at David Lloyd Jones home, who made moms time with them and especially her last days so much more comfortable for her as well as the family.
