PEET, Patricia Winifred: (nee Green) 1939-2015. Born in Edmonton, Pat Peet passed away peacefully in Penticton on January 22, 2015 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Al, in 2012, and is lovingly remembered by her four children, Dave (Abe) Peet of Calgary, Cathy (Chris) Terris of Penticton, Barb (Don) McIntyre of Ottawa and Dan (Erin) Peet of Calgary, and sister Phyllis Horne of Nanoose Bay. Pat will also be missed by her six grandchildren (Natalie, Emma, Connor, Evan, Kiefer and Samara) whom she dearly loved. A grandson Cameron sadly predeceased her, as did her brother Bill. Pat had a lifelong commitment to caregiving as a Registered Nurse, graduating twice from the University of Alberta, first before starting her family, and after being a full-time mom, she took a refresher course and worked many years, mostly in extended care. She was also an Organist at St. Paul's and St. Augustine's Anglican Churches in Edmonton. In 1996 Pat and Al were very excited to retire from Edmonton winters and move to Penticton, which expanded the possibilities Pat could explore with her gardening, and spending more time with her grandchildren. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Friday February 27 at 3:00 pm, at St. Saviour's Anglican Church, 150 Orchard Avenue, Penticton. Reception to follow in the church hall. The family would like to thank the staff at Haven Hill Retirement Centre in Penticton. Memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (http://www.alzheimer.ca/en). Condolences may be sent to the family through www.providencefuneralhomes.com 250-493-1774
