JELINIC, Nada Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the age of 80. Survived by her loving husband Ivan, of 51 years; son Gordon Jelinic of Ottawa; two daughters: Anita Donovan (Gary) of Canmore, Wendy Jelinic of Calgary; two sisters: Mira and Danica both of Zagreb, Croatia. Nada was born on July 6, 1933 in Zagreb, Croatia. She immigrated to Canada in 1962. Nada and Ivan lived in Terrace where they started their family. They then moved to Kelowna in 1970. She will be missed by family and many friends for her sense of humour and her fantastic cooking. Nada's family would like to thank all the staff of Hospice House for their wonderful care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 19th at 10:30 am from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 839 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC. Interment to follow in the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
