
ELLIS, EDWIN (Ted) William Haskell Passed peacefully on Monday, January 27th, 2014, at the Penticton Hospital. His death due to stroke ended a remarkable life. Having followed his father's footsteps enlisting in the RCMP in 1957 providing 31 years of outstanding service to Canadians. Ted was a quiet soul and enjoyed playing a round of golf with his buddies. Survivors include his wife of 53 years June; his son Jeff (Heather) Ellis, Holly Gannon (Carl) and Leanne (Ken) Karpuk; the joy of his heart his grandchildren Brittney, Cheyenne, Cody and Amanda; his sisters Verna Smith and Deann Jasienczyk; as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews and great friends. He was predeceased by his parents William and Vera Ellis and sister Lila Whittaker. The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors and nurses at Penticton Hospital for the kindness and compassion shown to Ted and the family. There will be no service as per Ted's wishes.
