VERBEEK, DAVE ALBERT JEROME: passed away March 27 2014 with family by his side, after a brief stay at Moog & Friends Hospice House. Dave was born in Westlock, Alberta, Nov 25 1945. He is predeceased by his parents Charlotte (nee Cust) (1953) and Jerome Verbeek (1998), and son Shayne (1999) and is survived by his wife Donna, their daughter Nicole (Steve) Digby, of Medicine Hat , AB, and DeeDee Adams of Whitehorse YK , Lynette Christmas somewhere on Sunshine Coast and son Layne ( Rod) of Toronto , grand children Andrew & Kaitlyn Digby, Chanse Adams- Verbeek, Cai and Maxwell Christmas, his sisters Geraldine ( Doug) Benson of Terrace and Yvonne (Whitey) of Halifax and brother Bill (Donna) of Mission and many nieces and nephews and many, many cousins. Dave enjoyed life, spending time with friends was important to him. He loved to camp, play guitar, sing and tell jokes. The family invites you to celebrate Dave's life, just as he would have liked, with an evening of karaoke songs at the Penticton Elks, on May 17th at 7 pm
