SCHAFER, Morley A.: Of Kelowna, BC, passed away peacefully at the Central Okanagan Hospice House on October 10, 2014 at the age of 75 years after a valiant struggle with CIDP, an auto-immune disease. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Pat) and six children: Bob Schafer of Red Deer, Alberta; Jacqueline Ann (Bill) Millar of Qualicum, Beach, BC; Lorne (Cara) Schafer of Edmonton, Alberta; Kelly (Trevor) Nadrozny of Champaign, Illinois; Jackie (Steven) Unrau of Gibbons, Alberta and Lisa (Randy) Gerber of Kelowna, BC; eleven grandchildren: Melissa, Jason, Branden (Jamie), Kindree, Colton, Sydney, Katie, Maddie, Ethan, Jocelyn and Zachary and two great-grandchildren, Wilson and Emily. Morley was sadly predeceased by his parents, Lydia and Emanuel, sister Shirley and brother Gordon. Special thanks to Dr. Wm. Mackle and the staff at the Central Okanagan Hospice House for your wonderful care. He will be sadly missed but forever remembered by his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Rutland Seventh-day Adventist Church, 130 Gerstmar Road, Kelowna, BC with pastor Cameron Koronko officiating.
